Rental Conditions Version 1.0
The apartment was built and decorated in 2004. Some furniture has been in the family for years. All is in good shape and we expect you to respect that and keep everything in good order. Owner will confirm the reception of the reservation form, to renter (owner is free to exclude any renter without given reason). After confirmation, renter must pay the down payment of 30% within a week. At reception of the down payment the booking is confirmed by owner and renter and owner agree to the following conditions.
Arrival and departure.
Arrival time must be between 16.00 and 20.00 hours (other arrival times can be discussed).
The apartment must be clean and tidy at 10.00 hours on the day of departure.
Damage.
All damages to the property and its belongings must be paid by renter. Furniture and houselinnen are for indoor use only. Special garden furniture is available in the garden section of the apartment. In case of defects, renter will inform owner immediately and owner will fix problems as swiftly as possible.
Cleaning.
At arrival the apartment will be clean. It must be left clean at departure. Close to the apartment, a special cleaning structure is situated where all necessities for cleaning are at renters disposal upon request. Bedlinnen and towels are ready to use at arrival and replaced if necessary. Also a washing machine and a large freezer is available for renters in case the one in the appartment is not large enough.
Payments and cancellation.
Down payments are not to be restituted. The total amount due has to be received by owner, one month before arrival. Cancellation is accepted up to two months before arrival but the down payment is not to be restituted. Later cancellations do not acquit renter from paying the total amount due. Owner will however try to find other renters and on success, owner will restitute the paid sum under deduction of 20% for costs. International payments must be executed on a basis that all costs are paid by renter (OUR-cost).
Behavior.
Renters must behave in a civilized and quiet manner at all times. The swimming pool is at full disposal but only for renters, not for renters' guests. Which is also the case for the gardens surrounding the swimming pool.
In all cases where problems occur, parties will do their utmost to solve these in a friendly and reasonable manner. Owner will never pay more damages than the sum he received and renter will never pay more than the damage or financial consequences thereof.
